We strive for many things at Dixie Valley Ranch, from producing great commercial mother cows that can raise a heavy calf while traveling through the sage laden high planes of northeastern California. To producing calves with heavy, high grading carcasses and, doing so at the highest efficiency model possible. Our Angus program was derived from the vision of what we wanted our commercial program to achieve.

Dixie Valley Ranch strives to produce bulls that have an equal balance of both maternal and terminal values. Bringing a balance of phenotype and genotype to cattlemen to try to balance maternal stability and final product quality. While putting our model to the test on feed efficiency.
